I fisnied the whole order for Eden Yarns(the website will be up soon-sih, I got a peak at her front page rough draft and it’s lvoely!) so I was able to do a little updating in the shop, yay!

For October, the Theme is Masquerade Ball but I just kinda sent in what I had. I did name the dark brown one Prince Prospero after the character in E.A. Poe’s The Mask of the Red Death though.:D

The theme is Meet Me At The Fair, but samples don’t HAVE to revolve around the theme. I have Fair Lights, Orange Sherbet and one Denim to fit the theme, then a few Jungles and Forest Primevals for a variety in the color samples. Bases are- Beat Sock, Cashprose and Ode to the Sea Sock.

We will no long be carrying Silver Freckle Sock, all current stock has been moved to the Sale section of the shop.

We are also replacing our Free Verse Sock base. You might have noticed none had been dyed in a while, I was trying out a few different yarns. The current stock of FVS has also been moved to the Sale section. Look for the new FVS base (same fiber content) in the Fall.

I was looking at something in my Flickr stream when I stumbled upon my first dyed yarns, with kool aid of course. Then I looked at the date the photos were taken, Dec 11th 2006, ah, who knew 2 years ago playing will wool and kool aid would lead me here.

A new colorway inspired by the Sylvia Plath poem of the same name, this is my new favorite colorway I’m so in love with it. (it’s on our bamboo blend base)
It was sort of an accident, I hope I can reproduce it.
